Do you want to become a software developer? Or a better one?

I'll soon be starting an online training course for absolute beginners who want to learn computer programming so as to start a career in software development. This will also be beneficial for those who already studied software engineering or BTech or such but do not understand concepts well, and need expert hands-on help. It will also help already working software engineers understand coding better and do their job better.

To receive an email when the course is launched, please sign up for the mailing list.

Comfort Zone

I used to have a comfort zone
Where I knew I couldn't fail;
The same four walls of busy work
Were really more like jail.

I longed so much to do the things
I'd never done before.
But I stayed inside my comfort zone
And paced the same old floor.

I said it didn't matter
That I wasn't doing much;
I said I didn't care for things
Like dreams, goals and such.

I claimed to be so busy
With the things inside my zone,
But deep inside I longed for
Something special of my own.

I couldn't let my life go by
Just watching others win.
I held my breath and stepped outside
And let the change begin

I took a step and with new strength
I'd never felt before.
I kissed my comfort zone 'good bye'
And closed and locked the door.

If you are in a comfort zone,
Afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were
At one time filled with doubt.

A step of faith and the Word of God,
Can make your dreams come true.
Greet your future with a smile,
Success is there for you!

Son, if you're looking for advise, stick to your job.

Though this poem seems to suggest that employment is the comfort zone that one must strive to get oneself out of, I think its use is more pertinent if its purport is broadened to the point to the realization that our unconscious urge is to tend towards pleasure, towards the path of least resistence.

I must tell you this once again. All of this self-help crap is meaningless drivel. You are much safer to ignore it all. I too am just only recording these poems, I don't even know why. If you have a job, stick to your job. If you don't have one, get a job.

Stick to your job.
